Distribution & Representation
Global technology. Indian accountability. A single point of contact that knows both sides of the equation.
Accessing world-class defence robotics technology from international OEMs involves more than procurement. It involves navigating import regulations, SCOMET licensing, end-use certification, in-country technical support, and the ongoing maintenance of a relationship between an overseas manufacturer and an Indian end-user who needs support now, not across a twelve-hour time zone. THRSL serves as the authorised in-country representative for select global defence robotics manufacturers. We provide the interface layer that makes international technology accessible to Indian government bodies, PSUs, and system integrators — with full accountability sitting in-country, not overseas.
What We Manage
Authorised OEM
Representation
THRSL holds formal representation agreements with partner OEMs, providing Indian buyers with direct access to technical support, warranty management, product roadmap information, and engineering liaison through a single in-country entity. Procurement and postprocurement relationships are managed end-to-end by THRSL — not routed through overseas offices unfamiliar with Indian procurement requirements.
Import, Regulatory &
Licensing Management
End-to-end management of the regulatory chain for imported defence equipment: SCOMET licensing, MoD import authorisations, DGFT compliance, customs classification, end-use certificate preparation, and post-import reporting obligations. For buyers who have encountered the complexity of importing defence-classified equipment, this capability eliminates a significant programme management burden.
In-Country Technical
Support
THRSL provides first-line technical support, field servicing, and integration assistance for
OEM platforms using our own trained engineering personnel. There is no scenario in
which an Indian defence command needs to wait for an overseas OEM to dispatch a
service engineer. The accountability and the capability are both here.
Localisation & Indigenous Content
Development
Where procurement requirements mandate indigenous content — under Make in India, IDDM, or offset obligation frameworks — THRSL coordinates the localisation of specific subsystems, components, or manufacturing processes. This is not nominal compliance. We identify what can be genuinely localised, develop the capability, and document it to the standard that procurement audits require.
Why the In-Country Model Matters
Regulatory Complexity
is Real
SCOMET, end-use certificates, and MoD import authorisations are not formalities. They require detailed knowledge of current regulatory positions, relationships with the relevant authorities, and the ability to respond quickly when a query arises. THRSL manages this as a core competency, not an administrative inconvenience.
Support Cannot Wait
For Time Zones
When a platform goes unserviceable in an operational environment, the requirement is immediate. An overseas OEM cannot provide that. THRSL can, because our support infrastructure is built around Indian deployment realities.
Long-term Programme
Accountability
OEM relationships in defence technology span years. THRSL structures its representation agreements for programme longevity — covering not just the initial procurement, but the upgradation, support, and eventual replacement decisions that follow.
